GS Bespoke Woodwork is built on discipline, precision, and pride — values shaped over 22 years of service in the Royal Air Force and carried forward into a new chapter.

Leaving the RAF wasn’t about leaving the military behind. I loved my time in service, and those experiences remain a deep part of who I am. The attention to detail, high standards, and sense of responsibility ingrained through military life now guide the way I design, make, and finish every product.

At GS Bespoke Woodwork, I combine traditional woodworking skills with modern technology. Alongside hands-on techniques, I embrace CNC machining, laser engraving, and the growing use of resin in my work. Learning and evolving is important to me — using new methods where they improve quality, consistency, and creativity, while never forgetting the foundations that shaped how I work.

Each product begins with carefully selected wood and a clear purpose. Some pieces are crafted by hand, others refined using precision machinery, and many are a blend of both. Resin allows me to push designs further, add contrast, and create truly unique finishes, while still respecting the natural character of the wood.

Everything I produce is made in small batches or as one-off pieces, focusing on quality rather than quantity. I create bespoke wooden products and personalised wooden gifts designed to be functional, well-made, and built to last — pieces I’m proud to put my name to.

Nature and material honesty play a key role in my work. Grain patterns, knots, and natural variations are embraced rather than hidden, ensuring every item is individual. The deer antler emblem represents strength, tradition, and respect — a reflection of both the natural materials I work with and the values that continue to guide me.
